Vocal massage can also be beneficial for clients dealing with migraines, whiplash, TMJ disorder, muscle tension dysphonia, and other conditions affecting the muscles in the neck, chest , jaw , face and head. 

Here are just some conditions and situations where vocal massage may be beneficial:

Preventative Care: Some professionals who rely on their voices, like singers, vocal coaches, and voice actors, use vocal massage as part of their routine to maintain healthy vocal cords and prevent vocal problems.

Voice Therapy: Vocal massage is often used as a complementary technique alongside voice therapy to improve the effectiveness of voice rehabilitation programs.

Vocal Strain or Fatigue: Vocal massage can help relieve tension and reduce strain in the muscles associated with voice production. It is often used by singers, actors, public speakers and others with a high vocal load to help maintain the health of their voice

Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction: Vocal massage can be beneficial in the treatment of TMJD helping to release tension in the muscles which impact the jaw. 

Muscle Tension Dysphonia: This is a condition characterised by excessive muscle tension in the larynx, resulting in voice problems. Vocal massage can help relax the overactive muscles and improve voice quality.

Stress and Anxiety: Stress and anxiety can lead to muscle tension in the neck and throat, affecting voice quality. Vocal massage can provide relaxation and help individuals manage stress-related vocal issues.

Recovery from Vocal Cord Injury: After an injury to the vocal cords, such as trauma or surgery, vocal massage can aid in the healing process.

Sessions last 45 minutes. Initial session includes an additional 15 minutes which includes a client consultation in order to discuss what you want to achieve from your sessions  and tailor a plan of treatment which meets your specific needs
