Welcome to Singing Solutions , Inspiring excellence, building voices and achieving vocal freedom.
Hi, I’m Alice, Vocal Coach, Singer and Mentor.
I specialise in teaching contemporary styles: RnB, Pop, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Rock, Folk, Blues etc.
For as long as I can remember I have had a passion for singing and the voice. Singing is one of my greatest joys, and it is my aim to share the immense satisfaction and fulfilment that the free expression of our ‘first instrument’ can bring.
Empowering and enabling singers to reach their full potential, to discover their voice and refine their natural gifts, is a privilege and something which I care deeply about. I aim to give you the confidence, knowledge and tools to understand how your voice works and to help you take your singing to the next level.
In my 18 years of teaching voice, I have had the honour of working with many fantastic students. Past students have gone on to reach the semi-finals on major UK talent shows (Britain’s Got Talent) and others have gone on to sign with major record label (Sony, RCA).
It is always inspiring to see progress and growth in my students. Whether it is helping those just beginning their journey, to semi-pros wanting to refine their skill-set or advanced singers seeking vocal maintenance and guidance.
Wherever you are on your vocal journey I would be happy to help.
"The only thing better than singing is more singing" -
Ella Fitzgerald
"A great teacher is one who realizes that he himself is also a student and whose goal is not dictate the answers, but to stimulate his students creativity enough so that they go out and find the answers themselves." - Herbie Hancock
I am a qualified singing teacher with a PTTLS from City & Guilds. I have a BA Degree in Performing Arts as well as a Diploma in popular music specialising in vocals (Vocaltech).
I initially trained and qualified as a Speech Level Singing Teacher (SLS) and have since continued my professional development incorporating techniques from other major vocal methodologies.
I have been teaching private one to one singing lessons since 2006, and have lead a wide range of vocal classes for groups, including adult choirs, youth service singing provisions and after school singing clubs.
I also work with adults with learning difficulties and disabilities and run music therapy sessions for the NHS mental health service.
I have a current DBS & have received child protection training.
In addition to teaching I am also an artist/performer/songwriter with an extensive repertoire specialising in Soul, Gospel, Blues, and Jazz.
I am committed to following the latest developments in teaching in the field of vocal technique, and broadening my knowledge and skillset through continued professional development
